Crank out more conceptual designs than ever before: Make changes on the fly, trace existing shapes, and easily collaborate with others to achieve optimal designs faster and more efficiently. 3D Sculptor’s browser-based subdivision (Sub-D) modeling enables the speedy creation of ergonomic and organically shaped models.

Sub-D modeling typically starts with a primitive shape such as a globe, cylinder, or torus. You can modify shapes by pushing and pulling them into their desired form, mimicking a clay-like work process. Images and sketches can also function as templates to create 3D surface geometry.

Because 3D Sculptor is part of the 3DEXPERIENCE® Works portfolio, it is easy to get immediate feedback from all team members on your concept designs. Plus, you can design and work with teammates at home, at the office, or on the road since all you need is a browser and an Internet connection.
