Manage connectors and connector assemblies with SOLIDWORKS Electrical
Of all the varying components we use today, connectors seem to be the one we struggle with the most. Because there are so many manufacturers, even more so because of the countless configurations they offer can be a point of frustration. Even with the basic connectors we use on a daily basis, there may be different pin types, varying backshells or multiple keying options.
Capturing and generating this data upfront during the design phase is extremely valuable, which can help avoid complications downstream. Without the proper tools to keep schematics, reports, and layouts intelligently linked together, we're wasting substantial time and effort repeatedly inputting data and checking documentation for accuracy.
Watch our on-demand webinar where SOLIDWORKS ECAD expert, JP Emanuele explains how to create accurate connector documentation quickly with no errors.
Using SOLIDWORKS Electrical, JP guides you from schematic to layout to show that there is a better way!
This webinar focuses on the following:
- Connector Library Management
- Connector Assembly Re-Use
- Utilizing Schematic-linked Connection Labels
- Creating Accurate and Detailed Reports
