Simulation tools have always allowed us to improve design in order to develop the product in an innovative way, whether we are talking about drugs, renewable energy or complex engineering machinery that helps to simplify daily work.
Indeed, the simulation provides information on the performance of the product before it becomes reality, helping to determine a clear saving on costs and time for the realization of the project.
To demonstrate how this can be possible, we are going to develop a practical case of advanced design of a complex machine such as an excavator, addressing different engineering problems from time to time.
In this second episode we will analyze the advantages of the MODSIM approach for the fluid dynamics analysis in order to obtain data on the thermal and fluid dynamic performances inside the cabin of the excavator in order to evaluate its comfort.
