Episode 3: The MODSIM Approach in Electromagnetism Analysis
Nowadays, Connectivity is a key element that we face every day, Mobile phones, Smart Watches or even Cars are equipped with antennas that allows them to be connected to a network and exchange info with other equipment or users.
When we design an antenna, simulating it alone in free space is not enough. It has to be studied and optimized while integrated in its environment.
In this third episode on the Excavator series, we will see how the MODSIM approach can help antenna engineers and integrators to obtain the most optimized antenna performance, with an increased go to market time and reduced cost.
We will see the complete workflow that allows optimizing the position of the antenna of the excavator to insure a reliable connectivity without trying to alter the antenna performance by the presence of the bee excavator.
The most important KPI such radiation patterns, Antenna Gain and efficiency will be calculated in order to extract the best antenna placement.
